Sharing Hope

Engaging in your own fundraising initiative to benefit Razia’s Ray of Hope Foundation can be an educational and transformative project for your school or organization. We believe that by learning about the students at the Zabuli Education Center and understanding the context and history of Afghanistan, Americans and other Western citizens can close the gap that divides many of us from those in the Middle East. It is the sense of connection that dissolves borders and preconceptions — and changes lives.

When one group of people comes together to help another group of individuals, our commonalities rise to the surface and change is affected on a global scale. Won’t you join us in redefining what’s possible?

To support your fundraising efforts, we’ve provided a selection of resources and fundraising ideas to get you started. As educational context is an important element in successful fundraising work, we created an introduction to Afghanistan and its people in our About Afghanistan section. You can access PDF fact sheets and a recommended reading list to aid in your efforts. We’ve also created video stories and an image gallery for use in your fundraising work.
