Razia's Ray of Hope

Host an Event with Razia

Thank you for your interest in hosting an event to support girls’ education in Afghanistan!

Community-based events are one of the most effective ways for Razia’s Ray of Hope Foundation to build relationships with existing supporters and help other proactive global citizens connect with our empowering mission and the students we serve.

Razia Jan is a dynamic speaker who has presented to audiences around the world. Whether speaking to several thousand in an auditorium or several dozen in a private residence, all who hear Razia speak are inspired in many important ways.

While we are always grateful for hosts who are able to donate event resources, we don’t want budget to deter interested hosts. Razia’s Ray of Hope Foundation (RRH) will reimburse you for event expenses provided these are determined and discussed in advance.

The RRH team will provide professionally produced print collateral (invitations and posters) and digital assets for social media. We are grateful for logistical support with the following tasks:

  • Recruit an event sponsor or host committee
  • Work with the RRH team to determine date, time, and duration
  • Select or provide a venue with appropriate space for the invitation list
  • Identify caterer, bartender, etc.
  • Work with the RRH team to decide whether or not to charge admission
  • Work with the RRH team to develop an invitation list
  • Work with the RRH team to send invitations, both electronically and via US Mail
  • Promote the event in social media (as you are able)
  • Work with the RRH team to manage RSVPs/registrations
  • Provide or arrange for a screen at the event for video
  • Work with the RRH team to follow-up with attendees

We very much look forward to working with you to create a successful event that raises both awareness and funds to support
Afghan girls’ education!
