Silke Johnstone is an executive of the Boeing Company in the Commercial Airplanes Division for the European Region. For more than 10 years she has worked for Boeing in various executive positions including roles in revenue management as a regional CFO for the Middle East, Russia, Central Asia, and Boeing Business Jets as well as senior council for Commercial Airplanes and Services.
Prior to joining Boeing, Silke worked as a lawyer for the German oil and gas industry out of Berlin and Brussels and as young lawyer at the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer specializing in European competition and international trade law.
Silke is admitted to the German, European, and New York Bar. She served as a fellow at the Institute of International Economic Law at the Georgetown University Law Center and is a former alumni of the College of Europe in Bruges. In 2007 she was awarded the Thomas Bradbury Chetwood, SJ Prize for the most distinguished academic performance. Silke currently serves on the Board of the Vital Voices Northwest Council. She resides in Seattle, Washington, with her husband L. Craig Johnstone and their daughter, Maxime.
