Shakira worked as an Assistant Teacher upon graduating from Abdul Majid Zabuli High School in 2015. After enrolling and graduating from the Razia Jan Institute she worked as a midwife at the Deyahya Clinic helping the people in her community. She now uses her background in Management working as the Sponsorship Coordinator in Afghanistan at Zabuli Education Center.
