Razia's Ray of Hope

Welcome Grantmakers!

Patti_and_RaziaWelcome to Razia’s Ray of Hope Foundation, a nonprofit organization that empowers Afghan young women and girls through community-based education.

Serving the Afghan district of Deh’Subz, Razia’s Ray of Hope was founded on the belief that education is key to positive, peaceful change for current and future generations. We provide learning and growth in a safe, nurturing environment, empowering girls and women through education and resources so that they may work toward brighter futures — in their own villages and beyond.

This section offers the most pertinent information to grantmakers in one location. Please see the sidebar for information regarding our flagship program at the Zabuli Education Center, the Razia Jan Institute, our financial data, and more!

We passionately believe that our model is worth investing in, and we hope you do too. Sponsorship is the most important part of our program, enabling impoverished girls to receive the education they deserve, at no cost to their families. Your support gives these children a chance at a better life.
